Kara Tointon has swapped Albert Square for sequins
Partnered by Russian hunk Artem Chigvintsev, 28, the former EastEnders actress impressed the judges and the public with her incredible grace and her astonishing gymnastic ability.
The pair's last dance, the American Smooth, was absolutely beautiful, despite Kara injuring her arm in traning.
Kara, 27, and Artem's on-screen chemisty has been obvious from the start and has helped propel them to the top of the Strictly leaderboard week after week.
'I think I am a different human being to the one I was 3 months ago,' says the actress. 'It's been a magical experience.
'It's the most special thing I've ever achieved.'
Artem and Kara both wept when they were told they'd won the show. Then, encouraged by runner-up Matt Baker, they kissed on the lips.
After celebrating, Kara ended up in Accident & Emergency for treatment to torn ligaments in her lower arm.
