In addition to modeling, she has appeared in several TV shows, including Spin City, Sex and the City, and Yes, Dear. Klum had a role as an ill-tempered hair model in the movie Blow Dry, played a giantess in the movie Ella Enchanted and was cast as Ursula Andress in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers.







In December of 2004, Heidi Klum became the host and judge of the reality show Project Runway on the U.S. cable television channel Bravo, in which fashion designers compete for the opportunity to show their line at New York Fashion Week and receive money to launch their own fashion line. Klum also received an Emmy Awards nomination for the show for the first and second seasons.







Germany's Next Top Model is a German reality television show which pits contestants against each other in a variety of competitions to determine who will win a modeling contract with IMG. Heidi Klum hosts the show, and it was co-produced by Supermodel Tyra Banks. The show is currently airing its second season.

Petra Nemcova

Petra was featured on the cover of the 2003 sports illustrated swimsuit issue and has also modelled for Victoria's Secret. On June 3rd 2004 she was one of the telecast judges for Miss Universe.

During the Indian Ocean Earthquake of 24th December 2004, Petra and her fiance Simon Atlee were in Thailand and a tsunami had struck where they were staying. Atlee drowned to death and Petra suffered from a broken pelvis and some serious internal injuries but fortunately for her she managed to hang onto the top of a palm tree untill help came along 8 hours later.

"Glamour" magazine awarded her the "Survivor Award" for the tsunami ordeal and how she has picked up her life since then. Her comeback was complete with her appearance in the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Petra wrote a book "Love always, Petra", in which she discusses her life under communist rule in Czechoslovakia, her entrance into fashion and modelling and her relationship with Simon Atlee.

Petra is currently dating Mr James Blunt.
