Earlier this year, we’ve realized how colours can influence the way we feel, especially when it comes to clothes. That’s why this season, we want vibrant and bold looks to make us feel animate and zealous. Simply said, wear your colours confidently!

FIX YOUR DON’TS

1. Don’t overdo the colours.

If you’ve noticed in all of the examples, our Chictopians kept it to a maximum of two bold colours.

Having more than two vibrant colours (three can still be an adequate amount), you face the possibility of looking jumbled than put together.

Try to keep your outfit a maximum of two colours if you’re just beginning to experiment with bright colours.

light orange H&M shoes - magenta H&M hat - turquoise blue New Yorker shirt - lig

Trust me, not everyone is as lucky as these ladies ^^ Some people can wear just anything and still look like a million bucks! Kudos to them!

2. Don’t forget to accessorize.

This is especially important for gals who want to exemplify that boldness in accessories rather than in the outfits.

If you’re not comfortable in wearing bright colours from head to toe, you can always opt for a bright handbag or necklace pendant.

ivory H&M hat - maroon Forever21 skirt - chartreuse Club Monaco top - black Club

black colorful heels Zara shoes - white slouchy Reiss blazer - beige clutch Marc

These small gestures can ease your way into the wearing big, bright colours!

3. Don’t forget to be confident!

Lastly, this isn’t a fashion rule, per se, but this is the kind of attitude you must harbor when you’re wearing these flashy colours!

yellow Vintage Gym t-shirt - blue sheer diy skirt - red polka dot clogs

Even if your outfit is the brightest amongst the crowd, when you don’t have that confidence, you still don’t shine.

So gleam away!
