Everybody is wearing BRIGHT COLORS!

The brighter the better

Drew often causes controversy on the red carpet in her bold outfits and this vivid orange ensemble by Jil Sander is yet another look that's dividing opinions. Boasting a fishtail kick pleat and strapless neckline this is certainly a unique take on the trend but the tangerine shade is set to be super hot this season

Kristen Davis

Kristin Davis' scored top marks for her ankle-skimming Prada dress and nude peep-toe platforms. Sexy and sophisticated, the plunging neckline and empire line details flatters Kristen's figure beautifully and the glowing purple tone is a subtle take on the bright trend.

Dannii minogue

Dannii rocked the maxi trend with this full length dress with subtle detailing around the neckline and a nipped in waist. The scarlet hue is divine and so bold. No accessories needed.

Katherine Jenkins

At the opening of the Cirque du Soleil Totem show, Katherine Jenkins decided to brighten up the grey London skyline in a buttercup yellow one shoulder dress by Lanvin for H&M. With some fabulous frills drawing attention to the asymmetric neckline this number is pure sunshine

Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz looked red hot in a scarlet asymmetrical Azzaro dress and nude Casadei stilettos at the premier of The Green Hornet. Another bold bright red, a celeb fave, and an easy way to take on the trend.

Holly Willoughby

Even with a little one on the way Holly has been quick to take on the bright trend. This dazzling bright blue dress is the perfect outfit for that baby bump and the ruched side detail makes the most of Holly's growing curves

Christina Aguliera

Christina Aguilera went for shocking pink in this floaty floor-length number by Alberta Ferretti. A plaited updo and outsized cocktail ring finished this glam look.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt tentatively tested out the colour blocking trend but instead of pairing two vibrant hues she paired a tuqouise Roksanda Ilincic  top with a fawn pencil skirt. Halfway there but get set for much bolder contrasts in coming weeks from the red carpet.

Rachel McAdams

A glamorous look for leading lady Rachel McAdam, the black leather trim and criss-cross belt of this Michael Kors gown broke up the block colour beautifully and the red colour is to die for... just perhaps not on the red carpet.

Kate Walsh

Victoria Beckham

Weeks before we discovered VB was expecting she stepped out in this canary yellow dress. Simple but chic as Posh does best and the bright hue makes quite the fashion statement all on its own.

Blues are going to be huge in spring summer 11 and the brighter the better. Kate Walsh went for a satin strapless dress with a tulip shape ruffled skirt for the People's Choice Awards. The sapphire colouring is as pretty as a picture and oh so on trend.
